Smit & Zoon to present new product passport at ACLE 2018

Weesp, The Netherlands, June 18, 2018, Global leather chemicals manufacturer Smit & zoon will be present at the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) with a brand new collection of leather articles which showcase how Smit’s recent acquisition of Codyeco has strengthened the company and its offerings to its customers. Product passport

One of the highlights at the Smit & zoon stand will be the launch of the new Smit & zoon Product Passport. In 2017 Smit published the first edition of this booklet that offers tanneries an easy to use overview with data on the performance of Smit product’s on leather and on the environment. This supports tanneries in choosing their chemicals wisely, thus reducing their environmental footprint and saving effluent treatment costs.

ACLE 2018 Collection

The ACLE 2018 collection includes an extensive range of shoe upper leather and upholstery leather made with the best that both Smit and Codyeco have on offer. Highlights include chrome free furniture upholstery leather made with the innovative retanning agent Syntan ZLR 100.
