Smit & Zoon makes a difference @ 35th India International Leather fair: Focuses on Upcycling for the leather Industry

All the leathers were made using the principles of Zero waste and are being displayed in a stand also focusing on these aspects. Catering to the customers’ demands the main focus of articles on display were Shoe, leather goods and furniture upholstery some interesting aspects where the floor of the stand that was made from Indian buffalo leather which was in very good condition after 3 days of heavy use and will be reused again.

All the leathers were designed jointly by our teams in India, Italy and Netherlands and made in our Future labs in India. The leathers were made into articles by local designers and displayed to share ideas with our customers on their possible end use.
