Smit & Zoon publish CSR Report Global leather chemicals manufacturer Smit & zoon announced today the publication of its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report, highlighting the company’s environmental and social performance for 2017. In this report, Smit & zoon describes its milestones for 2017 which include the publication of its Product Passport (see video) and the launch of its zeolite-based, chrome-free retanning agent Syntan ZLR 100. “2017 has been an exiting year for us: We launched interesting new products, opened new sales offices and leather application labs, and we acquired Italian leather chemicals manufacturer Codyeco,” said Smit & zoon CEO, Hans van Haarst. “All of these activities are in line with our mission to be the preferred partner for our customers, providing them with excellent products and solutions, today and tomorrow. In order to make the businesses of our customers fit for the future, innovation and sustainability are necessary.
