A long term quality policy

Providing constant high quality products and service, today and tomorrow, is the central focus within Smit & zoon. This has been described in our long term quality policy focusing on three quality targets:

• Satisfied customers
  We focus on fulfilling our customer’s requirements. As a result of our efforts, customers are satisfied in every contact.
• Quality image
  We want to be recognized as a very professional supplier to the leather industry. We work according well recognized international quality standards like ISO 9001 in everything we do.
• Maximum effectiveness
  Each effort is focused on executing our business processes as effectively as possible with the least impact on the environment and with the maximum safety precautions for our employees and the customers using our products. All necessary investments will be made to support this.

We want to work with the best available people. Our team strives for continuous improvements and innovative solutions to optimize the performance towards our customers.

Annual quality targets are an integral part of our quality policy. Each year challenging quality targets are determined. These targets contain at least concrete policy intentions and an overview of the quality improvement projects with clear measurable targets for the next year.

We strive to optimize the quality awareness within our whole organization towards each individual team member.
