Vote for Zeology

Zeology was developed as a sustainable alternative to existing tanning agents. It is zeolite-based and therefore chrome-free, heavy metal-free and aldehyde-free. Therefore, the main benefit is for the environment: less pollution, less discharge of chemicals in waste and waste water, no use of chromium or glutardialdehyde (GDA) and improved biodegradability of tanned material. What makes Zeology unique, compared to both traditional tanning agents and other existing sustainable alternatives, is that it delivers both sustainability benefits and superior leather performance.

“Zeology is a good example for the level of quality and passion, our nominees are contributing to a more sustainable future.” Nils Bader, Director Green Product Award

Until January 31st the Green Product Audience Award is taking place, where the winner is defined within a public voting. Within the first week already more than 13.000 votes were counted and there is still time to vote. Visit our nominee page:https://www.gp-award.com/en/produkte/zeology

On May 18th the grand finale will be held as a hybrid award ceremony with insights from jurors and creators of different industries, matchmaking events and much more.
