Tell us about your work environment. What does it look like? And what are your responsibilities at Royal Smit & Zoon?

I am living in Spain, doing my work at home (my office) and travelling when necessary to APAC zone. I am managing sales in APAC as Business Director, in collaboration with our team and agents. So basically my work is to make sure we get our budget targets, keep an active and efficient working environment based in team working, innovation and last leather trends.

Royal Smit & Zoon is driven by a purpose. To make the leather value chain environmentally & socially sustainable. What is your purpose? What gives you energy in your job?

I like to work with dedicated and enthusiastic teams. Collaboration with technical, commercial teams, local agents and customers to create opportunities and accomplish them.

At Royal Smit & Zoon, we love leather. What is your favorite leather item?

I love leather, and I use it so much. I love my backpack I use to travel, it is a gift from my wife from one of my favourite brands.
