And what are your responsibilities at Royal Smit & Zoon? My name is Beatrice Pagan de Paganis, I am 46 years old and I work for Codyeco in Montorso Vicentino site, in Italy. I have worked for 10 years in the Export department as customer service assistant, managing finishing orders coming from the following markets: Thailand, China, Turkey, Japan, Pakistan. Due to company new provisions, I was called to perform other tasks. I am a very curious person and my lifestyle is oriented towards everything that is new. Royal Smit & Zoon is driven by a purpose. To make the leather value chain environmentally & socially sustainable. What is your purpose? What gives you energy in your job? Sustainability has emerged as one of the most important requirements for any business and as such goes hand in hand with leather industry. I am proud to be part of Smit & Zoon and to work with many colleagues who every day around the world are passionately dedicated to improving the leather value chain. My commitment in this direction as employee consists of using digital channels without shipping user documentation by courier, consuming less energy. The awareness of contributing to a better and more sustainable future for everyone gives me energy in my job.
