As Demand Planner you will work in the Supply Chain department which consists of 5 colleagues. You will be taking care of the mid- and long-term production, purchasing and inventory planning, taking into account sales forecasts, for optimal product availability at minimum operational costs and minimum working capital. The basis for demand planning has been established within the organization but needs to be further professionalized. That is why we are looking for someone who can and wants to contribute to the professionalization of Demand Planning.

 

What you will be doing

  • You are providing input for the S&OP process;
  • You are involved in developing, implementing and managing parts of the new global supply chain ERP-system;
  • You identify external and internal developments to guarantee quality and making suggestions for improvement;
  • You support the management and employees by providing timely and correct advice on the development of the Supply Chain department;
  • You are leading meetings for the repurposing of Slow Moving & Obsolete products;
  • You are actively managing and adjusting on various KPIs;
  • You retrieve market information to adjust the historical forecast;
  • You are in consultation with product management about Product Lifecycle Management;
  • You analyze data for the preparation of forecast scenarios.

 

What we ask of you

  • You have a completed Bachelor or Master education in Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Engineering;
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably at a manufacturing company;
  • You have affinity with ERP-systems and experience in working with Microsoft-Excel;
  • You are a team player, you can keep a overview and work in a structured way;
  • You live in the Netherlands, preferably within a radius of up to 40 km from Weesp. 
  • You have strong communication skills and are able to manage stakeholders and provide them with the right information in a dynamic cultural environment;
  • You want to make an impact to contribute to a sustainable world;
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
