Business Controller

Will you join our team as a Business Controller?                                                                                   

As Business Controller, you offer insight into strategic and tactical financial issues and are able to translate complex financial and performance problems into understandable material. To make this happen, you need to be the ears and eyes of the Business Directors and the Commercial Director and you proactively gather information from others.

What you will be doing

As Business Controller you fulfill an important position between Finance and Business and perform the following tasks:

• You fulfill a key position in translating the financial or performance data into clear and straightforward (business) analyses;
• You will develop, implement and manage the topics: business Intelligence, efficiency, and compliance. You will do this with a high degree of independence;
• You are not only responsible for preparing periodic reports but you also contribute to the organization’s plans and pro-actively review areas or specific topics;
• You are a sparring partner for the Business Directors and you are challenging them.

What we ask of you

• A Bachelor or Master degree in the field of Finance or Economics;
• 3-5 years of experience as Business Controller or in Accountancy;
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, knowledge of BI tooling is a plus;
• A proactive, challenging and entrepreneurial mindset;
• You have good communication skills in English. (Note: Dutch is a plus but not required)

• A salary between €4.500 – €6.000 gross per month depending on your level of experience and education;
• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent contract;
